Pre-register online and be guaranteed to get the exclusive MegaDerby7 patch. All Cubs in the Sam Houston Area Council are invited. Build a new car or use the one you already have. Online Registration opens April 12 and closes at 5pm on April 23. Hurry, there's only room for 300 cars! (Limited On-site registration may be available on standby basis only up to 300 car limit).

All new for 2010! In honor of Scouting's 100-year anniversary, experience the Texas-sized BSA 100 Mega Down™ Derby event. You've never started from this high up before. Over 100 feet long! Everyone will want to know how you did.
We're running the BSA 100 MegaDown it in Pack 505's famous King of the Hill style! Winners of individual heats become Kongs for the next levels, winners of Kong heats eventually become King Kong!
Participate in the Traditional Free Run Classic Derby event. Run your car as often as you want. Do your own staging, pick your heats. Run your car backwards! Whatever. This one's just for fun.
All registered entrants start out in the official Texas Roll Down™ time trials event. Find out how your car stacks up against the fastest cars in the Council and then join in with all the other events.
Risk body, wheel and axle in the South Texas Super Collider™ collision survivor event where it's High Energy Physics, Cub Scout Style. Definitely NOT your daddy's derby!
